The Galion Tigers defended their home turf against River Valley on Friday night, rumbling through the previously unbeaten Vikings 38-7.

Galion would score first on a 3-yard rushing TD by Isaiah Alsip and would keep the momentum leading by building a 21-0 advantage with Trevor O' Brien and Hanif Donaldson scoring runs.

The Tigers led 21-6 at the half and would score two more TD's in the third on Wilson Frankhouse throws, as the Galion QB finished 12-16 for 149 yards. River Valley couldn't answer back offensively against the Tigers stout defense, as a running clock would close out the game with a score of 38-6.

​Galion remains unbeaten at 4-0 and will host Marion Harding (2-2) next Friday night.

River Valley falls to 3-1 overall, and will host Clear Fork (3-1) next.
