Granville Ends Clear Fork's Win Streak

Blue Aces Beat Colts 21-7

Granville entered the Colt Corral in Clear Fork's home opener and knocked off a Colts team that had not dropped a regular season game since 2016 with a 21-7 victory in Bellville.

In the first quarter, Clear Fork’s Brennen South completed a 3-yard pass to Trey Vail for their
only score of the night, making the game 7-0. Then in the second quarter, Granville tied-up the contest as Bo Buttermore completed a 24-yard pass to Christian Hilton in the end zone.

To start the third quarter, the Blue Aces kicked off to the Colts but would hold their potent Clear Fork offense in check the entire second half. With under a minute left, Bo Buttermore game Granville the lead on a 3-yard rushing touchdown late in the third making the score 14-7.

The fourth quarter saw Buttermore scamper in for a 4-yard rushing touchdown that seal a 21-7 win for the Blue Aces as the Colts 21 game win streak came to a close.

Next up, Clear Fork (1-1) travels to Lexington (1-1) in a rebound showdown in Richland County. Granville (2-0) will host Eastmoor Academy (1-1).
