Week 4  Clear Fork High School

Bellevue  vs   Clear Fork

Clear Fork Rally's Back To Upend Bellevue

Clear Fork stunned previously unbeaten Bellevue Friday night at the Colt Corral, erasing an 18-point deficit for a 30-21 win on their home turf.

The first half did not look good for the Colts, who gave up 21 points and couldn't get anything going offensively. They would find themselves trailing 21-3 late in the second quarter before the momentum began to swing in their favor.

Clear Fork QB Brennan South capped-off a touchdown drive just before the break with a 25 yard run to paydirt. On the opening possession of the second half, the Colts again found the end zone on a 3-yard Collin Crider TD run to trim the deficit down to five.

Set up with quality field position, Clear Fork would again score on their next drive with Elijah Hughes rushing in from 3-yards out to give the Colts a 24-21 advantage after completing the 2-point conversion. Early in the fourth quarter, Hughes found the end zone again on another 3-yard run to help secure the victory.

Clear Fork (3-1) will next travel to River Valley (3-1) in Week 4, while Bellevue (3-1) hosts Start (1-3).
