Willard ---  The Buckeye Central Buckettes are back in a district championship by easily handling South Central 64-24 in a D4 Girls Willard District Semifinal.

 

The game started off slow for both teams which is uncharacteristic for #1 Buckeye Central as they have had a poetent offence all season long. It allowed #2 South Central to stick with the Buckets through 1 frame of play, but it wouldn’t remain that way as the #7 team in Division 4 woke up and extended its lead to 36-14 at the break. 

 

The second half was more of the same as the Buckets continued to pour it on and turn the contest into a running clock midway through the third.. Transition offence and brilliant defence were two of the main factors in Buckeye Central really pulling away as they cruise to another date with #2 Seneca East in an all-Northern 10 district final.
